    08 Grand Prix daily driver.

1997 K1500 with 186,000 miles and no rust is my tow vehicle \ garage baby. I drive too many miles every year to justify driving a truck every day. Don’t get me wrong, the newer trucks are really nice. But damn they’re expensive. I’m going to keep White Lightning (Yes I know it’s not fast) on the road as long as I can find time to keep up with the maintenance.

2011 Ram with 124k miles mainly traveling to lakes. My wifes 01 Acura finally died with 215k, so she upgraded into a 2010 Buick Enclave with only 40k miles. Hoping we are set for the next 5+ years.

1999 Lumina 230,000 miles. I bought it for $1,500 with 100,000 miles. Haven’t put any money into it. It pays me to drive it every day. When I turn on the fan it just kicks dollar bills out of the vent!

My nice vehicle is a 2001 Chevy 1500 with 190,000 miles on it. It has rust holes the size of baseballs, but costs me nothing to drive! My biggest dilemma is wondering what I should do with all the money I save!

I doubt I will ever buy a brand new vehicle. Used junkers treat me real well!

1999 Suburban 173k I had a 10 Silverado with the 6.2 and owned it for 9 months without putting over 3k miles on it pulling the boat so I sold it and found the suburban with zero rust and brand new tires for 2500. Couldn’t be happier.

    2011 Chevy Equinox – I drive it round trip 60 miles a day. 105,000
    2013 Ram 1500 – Wife drives it round trip 3 miles a day. 58,000

Did have a 2007 Dodge Caliber that I used as a commuter car while driving 120 miles a day, then a move and my drive went to 60 miles a day. Then my wife got a new job and her drive went to 3 miles a day, she then started driving my pickup that sat in the garage and I started driving her Equinox. So we sold the Caliber with 185,000 miles on it last fall. I actually miss having a cheap car to rack up the miles on now.

Now the problem we will be facing… she wants to buy a mini-van and get rid of the Equinox. I’m not going to drive a mini-van to work. I’m also not going to put 60 miles a day on the Ram. Should have kept the Caliber.

Them Chevy 3.5L are very dependable. I have a 08 Impala that I bought with 16K miles, now have over 220K on it. It to kicks the dollar bills out the vents, LOL.

    My main weapon is a 2013 F-150 w/ 60K miles.

My wife rolls in a 2011 Camry with 100K miles.

My “real” driver is a Ping G3 10 degree. It’s only good for about 245 yards between fuel ups. It’s been known to go 280 yards on occasion, but the “user” needs a full service tune up between trips when that happens.

Good weather: early 80’s Trek 402. 15 miles RT to work & home.

Bad weather and towing the boat: ’00 Ford Explorer Sport. 83k

I used to tow with an ’03 Mazda MPV, this was my first winter with the Explorer. Loved every second of that 4wd.

I feel like I’m on the wrong forum….

    2013 BMW 550i w/30k miles
2012 BMW X5 w/44k miles (tows the boat)

My weekend car is a 1969 Pontiac Firebird that’s getting a pretty major makeover this winter.
