To prove they can. It’s like the nerd version of flexing your muscles. At least that’s my take on it.
Or maybe a training mission to test out for some other more nefarious hack?
It’s usually just to generate traffic to other websites. These sites probably contain malware or simply want to take your money. It is a bit odd though since I don’t recall seeing any actual links in their gibberish.
Personally I think Pug’s behind all this. Just ban him and we’ll see how it goes… no one knows a little mandarin.
PS they came in on my cell as well…although I didn’t check to see if it was the IDO notification or my own email.
