What's with Fleet Farm?

Haven’t been in a while but went today because I needed some underground culvert and figured I could get other items. Ended up being terrible. Salespeople sent me in different wrong directions, tags on a Milwaukee Fuel “sale” were wrong, they don’t have tree watering bags or know what they are, no deer fence, and it all took a long time. Left with nothing and went to home depot for a few things I needed. I used to consider them the place when I needed a bunch of more serious home stuff.

Where at? Winona still seems to be a good store.

Did you contact them before bringing it here?

I was in Blane FF today, fishing dept. was thin as always this time of year. Went for lawn fertilizer and chemical. Left 100.00 poorer not on lawn stuff, LOL

What store? I frequent the Brooklyn Park store, and while some changes have been taking place, I think they’ve been positive changes.

Went to the Lakeville location and they put a Groceries in there. About 10 isles or so.

IF Fleet Farm had the store and product educated employees of Scheels I’d have no reason to shop anywhere else.

I went to the Oakdale location for a outdoor table and chair set that was on sale. They didn’t have it but we’re very helpful. They called the Hudson store and were told they had a few.
Drove to Hudson and they didn’t have any.
Needless to say I was pretty upset. The kicker is that the same thing happened about two years ago with a Minnkota food pedal.

Unfortunately it’s the nature of the beast with retail. Many good employees but many lazy ones as well.

I’ve never had a problem with Oakdale or Hudson. Let’s hope they dont turn into Gander Mtn/Cabelas type service.

This was circle pines. The complete lack of knowledge across several salespeople was the worst – more than not having products.

Just a little over two weeks before opener. No excuse to be thin on fishing gear. Hopefully the new one in Monticello will be better.

Went to the Carver FF last night and they were fully stocked with no significant changes. They actually had a lot of cranks and musky baits on sale too. I went for $30 dog food, and left spending just under a $100, which is a big win in my book! jester

Was just at the BP FF at lunch today, was shocked they don’t carry any VMC jigs. Was looking for a decent 1/16oz jig and hoping they had some Moon Eyes, plus the smallest Hutch jig they carry is 3/32 so I was out of luck.

As usual for that store, the floor staff was good but the inventory left a fair bit to be desired neutral

Is it just me or does the Salted Nut Rolls from FF taste light years better than anywhere else? Only place I buy them…been doing it since I was a kid.
