    I’m guessing the weather and wind had something to do with it last week

    Yeah, what’s the deal? Smith and Gillespie found a way to make a new show…Don’t tell me the best fishing show in Minnesota was outdone by the boys across the border!

    It seems like they usually have episodes that they filmed last summer/fall on deck for those occasions when the week was a flop.

    I remember a few years ago they had a repeat mid season and Fox Sports North had screwed up and played the wrong episode that Sunday. Maybe they did it again.

    Or….sometimes life gets in the way

    There was a big a$$ Skeeter being rigged at SBC with Garmins yesterday. Maybe the open water boat isn’t ready to go? Doesn’t really matter all that much anyway. Lots of other stuff to watch.

    Still plenty of ice out there boys. Was on 2 feet of the nicest, clearest ice I’ve seen all season yesteday putting the smackdown on some nice perch on a backwoods north central Minnesota lake. BTW, best bite was 4 to 6 FOW under the ice near standing weeds.

    I was on the miss in 50mph winds getting walleyes. But a boat was required.
