Art Green. Please don’t put words in my mouth. I do not advocate any violence they may be committing. Seriously. You attack the message. OK. But think about the message before reacting out of anger or a preconceived defense mechanism. Americans have stopped listening to their fellow Americans. You just proved my point. I wish you no harm. I wish you no ill will. I’d like you to think for a moment the these are also fellow Americans, pretty sure they love their country too. Pretty sure they have parents and families just like you. When they differ in their opinions from you guys on this site, the reaction is just predictable. I get it. An outdoors web page. Conservatives are rural, traditional people. So the responses come as no surprise. Please, step back and look, seriously look at the suggestions of violence as your best solutions. The rhetoric is ugly. The rhetoric does not help solve our nations problems, but it certainly deepens the divide.

On another note. I am an avid outdoorsman / fisherman. I am looking to retire in 2-4 years. I am thinking about northern Minnesota or South Dakota since I LOVE to walleye fish. When I look at the responses here from mainly Minnesotans, I seriously wonder if I should look elsewhere. I know it is a small sample of people here, but the intolerance I see is unsettling. Makes me wonder is the unwelcome wagon would make new retires unwelcome in this part of America. I fear Trump’s America, but value and respect the outcome of the election. Just some random thoughts, because the ideas represented here do reflect on others. They do represent attitudes and behaviors of everyday people. I’ll just go away and let you tear me apart. It seems to be what this site does best.

Merican eagle: I am pretty sure you just went off on a tangent. Pretty sure I mentioned nothing you wrote about. Pretty sure I am saying violence is not the answer. Pretty sure you just proved my point. You failed to think of a single point I made and just ran off in another pre-convieved rant that really only demonstrated a guess as to what they are protesting, and thus proved my point that you have no desire to listen, as you mind is made up no matter what other people think. Well done. Then you made a huge leap of logic trying to tie two things together that logically fail to be demonstrably tied together by far, they are just speculation. Obviously speculation that justifies your own internal anger, but does little to solve any issues or problems.

Calm down, I wasn’t attacking, addressing or even hinting at anything you wrote. In fact, I didn’t even read your post…but feel free to get offended.

Sore losers. Think this would of happened if the other candidate would have one? Heck no.

I believe the other side had set up protests from the start, they were claiming that the system was rigged. If the election went the other way there surely would have been protesting also.

I think We are in for the most divisive 4 yrs in America since the 1960’s

Call them Protests or Tantrums; doesn’t make breaking the law right.

Neither does the “Pro-Trump” kids in local high schools writing racist graffiti on school property (also breaking the law).

This country has major issues to address if we are to move forward.

turning political…. 4-5 point favorite election night looses…. by more than that… what do you call that ? I call it rigged.

As long as your “fellow americans” agenda fits yours, they are fellows… if it does not.. stand in a road and disrupt them… makes sense… I use that term “sense” very liberally…. blush

I would be very careful jumping to conclusions…has the graffiti perp/perps been found ? With the inciting violence during the rallies, I would not put it past someone very liberal inciting again… would you ?? (money talks and the DNC spent it)

Touch a hot stove you get burned fingers.
Walk on a roadway you take chance of getting ran over.
Block a Federal roadway and chance getting locked up.

Doesn’t seem to be a democrat or republican issue. Doesn’t matter if you are red or yellow black or white or brown.

They should be in jail for blocking a public roadway not for protesting. Take over Rice park, Mears park, Loring park and have a great time.

Hi&sinker is suggesting you run them over.

Basically, these morons are protesting the Democratic process.

I agree with this (although I would have used a kinder descriptive). The Democratic process is what allows us to choose and vote on who we want for government offices. The people of this country have spoken…don’t argue that Clinton won the popular vote because there were many opportunities in the primary elections to vote for other candidates, and somehow this how the country voted. You can’t have it both ways. The system allows for all to choose who they want and then I find it comical to protest because it is not who THEY wanted.
Perhaps they’d like a country such as North Korea…because if you asked every North Korean citizen who they want to lead the country, they’d all tell you “The Great Leader, Dear leader” whistling
