I disagree. Trump certainly took his lumps in the federal courts but was a likely to lose in rulings made by judges he and other Republicans appointed as he was to lose in rulings by judges appointed by Democratic presidents. One of the surprises to President Trump who expected Republican appointed judges to support his positions as avidly as Republican legislators.

There were more than a few rulings that he lost in the more liberal lower courts. When it escalated to the upper courts/SCOTUS these rulings usually got overturned.

Again, I disagree. While the Trump administration certainly didn’t lose every case in which it was involved, it lost more than it won at the district and appeals court levels. The sheer number of election fraud cases lost (all the way to SCOTUS) tips the balance against Trump.

Let’s get back on the topic of Kirk Cousins:

    Data supporting my assertion:

Washington Post 07/20/2020 article titled Trump has the worst record at the Supreme Court of any modern president – average win rate for President’s since FDR at SCOTUS is 65%. Reagan at 75% and Ford at 74% lead the way. Trump weighed in at 47%, dead last.

More fun to talk about Aaron Rodgers. He’s managed to force his way out of Green Bay after this season while the Packers remain the #5 favorite to win it all.

Our hospitals just gave us the heads up that we all have to be vaccinated by Oct 31. It’s a condition of our employment. Oh and they decided to throw the flu shot on it for good measure as well.

My wife is an Imaging Technologist for Park Nicollet and they have communicated similar information. The caveat is that its not required until the FDA approves it for Standard Authorization (this fall sometime?). They have been required to be vaccinated for influenza every year since she’s been working there (6 years).

I’m not 100% sure, but I’m assuming that your wife had the option to opt out of the flu shot and could keep still keep her job, just like I’ve opted out of the flu shot every year I’ve worked at my hospital (8 years). I don’t get that choice anymore. I’m not an antivaxxer, I just don’t think flu shots are effective and I haven’t had a cold during flu season for about 7 years.

As for Cousins, yes, it will hamper the Vikings if he gets it. But what nobody is looking at is the fact that he (1) doesn’t believe he needs to get it, whether due to religious beliefs, or personal beliefs or (2) He doesn’t want to put something in his body that he doesn’t know the long term effects on. Right or wrong he clearly feels very strong about this. If you were being basically forced/publicly shamed to do something you felt extremely strong against would you say screw it and go along with it just to appease some fans and a game? I have a lot of extremely bright and quality medical coworkers that are going to lose their jobs in two months because they feel the same way.

That’s the point.. Polio, Measles, Small Pox, do you hear people screaming that everybody needs these vaccinations ? Nope, just the Covid… because Fauci and his media said so.

I’m not sure if this is satire or not. Do you have kids? Because pretty much every kid gets these IPV (polio), MMR (Measles, Mumps and Rubella) vaccines. Smallpox was basically (but not entirely) eradicated from the world due to the vaccines effectiveness, but if it came back we would be able to quickly combat it with the Smallpox vaccine. About 4 years ago there was a measles outbreak in the Cities due to a large segment of anti-vaxxers, mainly of Somali descent, and when we had our kid around that time most MSP hospitals didn’t allow underage visitors to the newborn floor because of the outbreak. Oddly enough when we had our second child in January we couldn’t have any visitors due to Covid. Thankfully we are done having kids now rotflol

Anyway I think Kirk has a big year if he can stay out of Covid protocol. rotflol

I do not have kids. More and more, it seems parents are refusing the “vaccinations” for their kids, as they have been linked to issues in development, such as Autism and other disorders. I have heard all the cliches about anti-vaxxers and Autism was always a thing before, it just went undiagnosed. That does not change the outcome. Remember when a Lobotomy was an widely accepted procedure to perform ? doah

Ya I am not sure on that one Mahto. She worked for Sanford Health prior to Park Nicollet and they required it every year too.

Only on IDO could we go from Kurt Cousins in the Covid protocol along with 60 plus nfl players to comparing it to a lobotomy.
Can’t make this stuff up. Pure comic gold. jester

Not sure why Kurt is taking all the heat Mond was the QB that tested positive and the Queens are the ones that had to small of a QB meeting room.

Could letting people cross our borders unchecked and untested possibly be part of the reason we’re seeing a rise in recent covid cases especially the new delta variant?

Cousins is taking the heat because Vikings fans just don’t like him. He can do nothing right in their eyes even when does play really well. Mond isn’t vaccinated either and he’s the one that brought it in. But Kirk is always the devil around here.

    That’s because he’s not a winner.
I would like the NFL to add another category to their stat keeping.

BS yards a QB gets when their team is down a ton in the 4th qtr and the other team is in cruise control.
That’s the only thing Cousins would win.

So you admit, you would NEVER hear the MSM (CNN,NBC,ABC,CBS,MSNBC) report, letting in hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants who are untested and travelling in large groups, into our country and dispersing them all over, is a bad idea during a pandemic ? Does it make sense to you ? Have you seen the Canada border threads ? Do you have even one ounce of common sense ?

Hahaha what!? Show me where I made any sort of comment one way or another about the topic of beasts comments lol. I saw an article on fox news criticizing the border issue and took a jab at beast for repeating the right wing news sources.

Slow your roll big g. When I give my own opinion about the border issue feel free to criticize me. Until then keep your BS assumptions to yourself.

You get all your news off the internet? I get mine off channel 4,5,9, and 11. 9 being as close to “fox news” as I can, and I sure don’t believe everything on the internet.

I think its probably best to view both sources (internet & TV) with a lot of suspicion

So, seeing how you can quote Fox News.. what is your opinion of their opinion, that letting in hundred of thousands of Illegal Untested Immigrants into all parts of the country untested, is a bad idea and hypocritical when you want to tell all Americans to get vaccinated and wear masks ? I am genuinely interested and as far as BS assumptions, you started with them. Mahalo

I am for a strong border and people coming into the country legally. I personally think a wall is ineffective and a waste of taxpayer money and the only reason the last administration pushed for it so hard was to earn your votes and donation dollars. Strong border security yes but need to find a better way to enforce that.

And yeah thousands of immigrants coming in unvaccinated sounds like something people in bidens administration should focus on and if they are actively welcoming the activity of illegal border crossing then they are hypocrites.

As to media reporting on certain topics I wish we could trust the media again and they would attempt to report facts instead of whatever would appease their base but we are well past that.

Now you have my opinion and I’m sure no one on this site cares one way or another about what it is.

As to kirk cousins I haven’t followed the last few days of his story. He can get vaccinated or not thats his choice. If he doesn’t and he misses games well then bring on the mond Era

So we agree on most things… I believe walls work in areas where we cannot “man” them 24 hours a day. Prior administrations before Trump called for them also… after Trump promised the Wall, when questioned, HRC sheepishly said she never lobbied for a “wall” but rather for some kind of a “fence”… now that’s some political talk. I also think Kirk should worry about Kirk and quite honestly I really don’t care as I haven’t watched the NFL since the middle of the 2019 season. We need to demand that our media be unbiased, that or we might as well just turn it into state run television like China.

are the mods off duty? I clicked to hear about the QB curfuffle and here we go with the vaccine drama.
if you are scared of the rona, get the shot.
if you aren’t scared of the vaccine, get the shot.
I got it after they offered the $100, not at risk, not scared of the rona or the shot. walk in and out in under 10 minutes.
im with Kirk…..his decision and if he misses time oh well. i might have symptoms this fall and might have to miss work……..bummer!

My guess is with 12 hours this thread is toast. And to think, starting all this was a packer fan (I think) poking the bear. We were having fun at Rodgers expense, and now just like in real football life, the Vikings are the losers again.
