Whats the Coolest Thing You've Ever Found Fishing?

I was out fishing yesterday and almost every step I took I was finding lures.
I guess it was a combination of the rocky bottom and the abnormally low tide.
This was by far the most “productive” fishing day for me!

Heck ya…when I was young and I say I go fishing…I go fishing for lures. That’s how I built up my tackle…and how I get to build stuff with other old tackle hardware. Also I look for the christmas tree ornaments, especially while in winter after all the leaves are gone.

By far the coolest is an old 65 cal flintlock pistol (a replica from the ‘60’s, not an original). I cleaned/restored it a little and it’s a cool conversation piece.

I spotted this moose rack on the shore line up in Canada a few years back. Very cool find and we had moosehead beer enjoy our find

I have caught a couple custom high end rods, and one had a 19″ walleye on it?

I was, indeed I was

I pulled this old all steel rod up. Now it is on my wall with lures from the 1960 and older.
