What’s it worth

1990 alumacraft classic 16 foot side console with 40 horse merc of same year. Boat is clean and trailer is in excellent shape. Electronics are worth basically zero as is old trolling motor. Boat has not ran in 3 years but has been garage kept for as long as I remember. It is a neighbors boat. I thought 3500 to 4000 was what it’s worth but would like other opinions. He is 90 and seems to think it’s worth way more but his wife wants it gone.

It might be able to get up to 5K, if it’s exceptionally clean/well kept. But for a boat that’s seen some use, I’d agree with your assessment.

I’m not one for sitting on stuff I want to sell or messing with price discussions. FWIW I’d list it at $3500 and be ready for it to move fairly quickly.
