What's it worth?

    Well it’s time to upgrade my outboard and wondering what it’s worth and where is the best place to sell it. I have a 87 Johnson 50 hp. tiller ,runs fine ,but reverse gear is not working the best. Thanks

    I have seen ones with remote steer and throttle go for up to 1800-2000 with tilt and trim. I’d say in the current condition you could probably get 1000-1200 for it.

    I’d sell it on Craigslist and either fix the lower unit problem or deduct that from the price. Do you live in the TC? If so, you could probably sell it or put it toward the purchase of another at a Johnson dealer or repair shop.
