First time making thick cut bone-in pork chops on the grill and they turned out pretty good!

If you use a probe and watch temps they are pretty hard to mess up. Internal temp is key, then pull and let rest for 10 minutes. Also I only try to flip once, flipping back and forth is a quick way to dry meat.

Like watching my dad or brother in law grill burgers flip them about 56 times and press them. Wanna take their spatula and smackem with it.

Sounds like my lady friend. And then she trys to direct me on how to do it the right way. I try to tell her that the chicken breast doesn’t need to be flipped 47 times. Just one time. But then she wacks me with the spatula

LOL I’ve learned a lot from watching my late husband and also my Dad grill, and for the most part – the less you mess with it the better! waytogo

Did some low and slow Polish sausage smoked with apple and pecan chunks. Topped them with mustard, kraut, and pickled red onion.

Grilled Halibut and roasted asparagus here if the rain quits early enough. I’m making potato salad to go with the cooked goodies.

Yesterday was my first time hosting a holiday and also my first time grilling burgers!! They turned out pretty good! Since it was raining, we moved the grill to the front of the garage and now the garage smells a little like burgers and it’s making me hungry for more LOL! toast

Is that a piece of fruit touching the corn chip!?!?! I made three racks of baby backs on Sat, then split each one with my wife over the next two days. Even wrapped tightly in foil after reheating in a 200* oven you could still smell them in the kitchen the next morning.

Guess what’s for supper? I’ll give you a hint. It’s National Hamburger Day.

    A hotdog?

Ding, ding, ding! Slathered in Miracle Whip and topped with bread and butter pickles, of course.

Lots of good looking food being posted.
I grilled chicken legs and made some mashed potatoes with brown rice. Nothing fancy but it was good.

That’s AWESOME, BC! Gotta get around to trying one, as well. Maybe a smaller chunk is a good way to start to cut the time and minimize cost and damage if it doesn’t turn out. Then scale it up once you get it dialed-in.

This one was 17 pounds from 2 years ago. I did one for a friend not long ago and was able to slip a few packages in the freezer…. one of which is on the dinner menu for tonight.
