wow that looks good. I’ve grilled chicken marinaded in Italian dressing but not pork. Need to try that!

Last week they had bulk cojack cheese at $1.99/pd in random chunks. The stuff was incredible. This week its sharp cheddar at the same price in random chunks and I’m here to tell ya that this stuff is great. I have no idea who the cheese producer is but this cheddar has got to be aged for a year. It’ll be a good thing when we run out of this stuff because its too good….all I do is snack on the cheese. Like I am doing right now. This has to be a cardiologist’s nightmare. Its that good. One more slice then I’ll go in for the ecg.

I usually add the onion & green pepper into the gravy as I make it but our daughter and grandsons specifically requested my B&G (sans veggies). Probably the best thing I make on the stove.

Tom SawvellInactivePosts: 9559February 19, 2019 at 7:56 am #1836456I did double duty on venison ring bologna and sauerkraut last night. Raw fries finished the meal.
The deep fryer is still taking up space on the table. I may put new oil in it and whip me up a pile of potato chips to go with a lean burger tonight if Taco Salad doesn’t flip Ma’s switch.

Cooking & eating like we do, I thought the scale was wrong Wednesday when the doc said I lost 18# since my December check up. I have been drinking light beer tho!
February 22, 2019 at 9:45 am #1837557At least your doc noticed you lost! I’m going on an elk hunt fall of 2020, so since November I’ve been eating better and have also been doing a lot of walking to get ready. I’m down almost 35. When I had my yearly checkup a couple weeks ago, my doc never even mentioned it.

February 23, 2019 at 6:15 am #1837776Our tradition for the kid’s Birthdays is they get to pick out their meal. Last night was Jason’s turn.
Boneless leg of lamb, roasted carrots & potatoes.
These carrots are the best I’ve ever had. I’ll get the recipe posted soon. Seriously, they taste like candy!Attachments:
