January 20, 2019 at 8:04 pm #1827898I just made 5qts of chili yesterday 5qts of beef stew Thursday. Its amazing how fast those 2 dishes disappear.
I use American Test Kitchen hearty beef stew recipe and always turns out great. As for the chili my own recipe I used smoked cummin powder this time and man it gave a great smoke flavor to the chili.January 27, 2019 at 2:03 pm #1829845I’m bored and to cold to be outside much, so I cook. Venny neck roast for 2019 deer camp.

Mr.Nichols, you live where again?? I will be right up if I can get the county to plow our roads clear of these 3 – 6 foot drifts we have around here today, sheesh !!DeletedPosts: 959February 12, 2019 at 8:31 pm #1834926thanks Glenn !!
Mr.Nichols, you live where again?? I will be right up if I can get the county to plow our roads clear of these 3 – 6 foot drifts we have around here today, sheesh !!I’m in the same snow pile as you iowaboy, just north a state.
We got a foot here since last night. My wife is a tad over 5’ and the snow piles along my driveway are taller than her. Must have a foot and a half + on my roof, sledding opportunity for the grandkids I’m thinking.
I hit a tree stump with the plow tonight too. The stump won! I am gonna have to hit it again tomorrow, with the opposite side of my plow, to straighten it back out. Polish tune-up is gonna require horsepower and some finesse.
