Looks fantastic! I have the loaves in the freezer for a while to firm up then will put on the smoker for about 4 hours or until hit temp. I know, pics or it didnt happen, but I will post the before and after when the time comes.

You must be a hungry dude Coletrain. 8 mini pizzas last night and 8 dogs tonight? That’s a lot of food.

I’ve never tried that. They might get kinda soggy with the pizza sauce

In springtime we would clean up the mess that winter storms would leave, we would have several wood fires burning at the same time and the first ones would be almost down to coals and mom would bring out a package of fresh locker made hotdogs and we would cook those things on a long stick over those coals, nothing better!! and to this day, better than any old steak.
I can imagine how good those were out on the ice, sure brings back some good memories, thank you.Coletrain27Posts: 4789February 18, 2023 at 8:06 pm #2182757Coletrain, I have eaten some mighty fine steaks in my lifetime but those hotdogs take me back to my childhood when we would clean up the blowdown in the timbers of our little farm.

Memories from almost 60 years ago, sniff, and then there was the little coleman white gas grill and bacon and eggs.

Yeah, like those disgusting Oscar Meyer ones. I remember eating those as a kid and never heated them up. The thought of it now makes me gag.

Yuck. Oscar Meyer. You could not pay me enough to eat one of those things. They should not even be allowed to call that a Hot Dog !!!!

We always had the twin pack of Tom Sawyer dogs, basically bologna in a hot dog shape, I can still eat them without heating them up. Cut them up and toss em in a salad.

Their Angus Hot Dogs are fantastic though but they have a regular casing.
