    I made BBQ Shotgun shells on the smoker Sunday. They were good, but not sure worth all the hassle preparing them.

    Yeah tries them for first time not bad for the work

    how did you stuff them? Thinking about getting a stuffer of some sort. My wife tried piping them but it was too thick.

    By hand that was the worst part of them. I didn’t cook the manicotti first and let them set for 4 hours and the bacon made them soft

    I didn’t cook the manicotti first either but any part of the noodle not covered by bacon was hard. Otherwise very soft.

    Were the noodles fully encased in bacon? The only areas that were crunchy when I did were because it wasnt covered in bacon. Next time if I do them again I will make sure to stretch the bacon to completely cover the whole noodle.

    I bet it was. I might try them again and make sure to cover completely, but I definitely want to find something to make the stuffing process easier. Wife was not impressed since she did it LOL

    I friend called that follows IDO and not a member yet doah . He says stuff cover and let set in frig overnight will take care of that issue.

    Just an idea!
