Little smokies are better though
Coletrain27Posts: 4789February 22, 2022 at 10:40 am #2101905Hot dog burnt ends don’t sound that appealing lol. I think you had to many smoothies when it sounded like you had to try it
Even after multiple smoothies they still don’t taste good. Little smokies only from now on
February 22, 2022 at 11:03 am #2101918I assumed it would be the same my kids love them little smokies. I even made some venison ones. You wanna talk about time consuming hand twisting all the little basstards.

February 22, 2022 at 4:47 pm #2102109Making them little weinies is time consuming but hey more time in the garage drinking busch lites.(which are getting hard to afford) I did type crotch pot on purpose so guess if ya ever come over for a party you might wanna stick strictly to beverages.
stevenoakPosts: 1719February 22, 2022 at 5:08 pm #2102116Sheepshead with Shrimp and spaghetti squash. Lots better than the sheepshead back home. Fishing has been tough in the Gulf this winter. Today may have been the last day. Heading back to the cold reality. After a week in Alabama. May try to surf fish there. I too am out on the crotch pot wieners.

ThunderLund78Posts: 2516February 23, 2022 at 7:52 am #2102259That looks GREAT, Steve! Hope it warms up by Mid-April for our Ft. Myers trip! Hoping to get on some reds, snook and trout, etc. Sounds like the fisheries are having a rough time the last few years with the Red Tides/Okeechobee discharges being routed to the gulf coast and this cold winter is only making things tougher.
February 23, 2022 at 8:34 am #2102269Followed B-mans fish frying tips and used the chicken fry shore lunch. Made some broccoli and garlic roasted potatoes. Nothing better than some fresh walleye!

stevenoakPosts: 1719February 23, 2022 at 9:03 am #2102284Strong warming trend this week. Gulf is warming nicely. We’ve got the tail end of the every 3 day cold fronts from up north all winter. Though a light lighter dose. The waters seem to be recovering from the worst of the Red Tide. The worst was 2012 to 2018. I get Florida conservation email updates. There hasn’t been a bad outbreak in most of a year. The special closed to harvest areas have been all but eliminated. A recent survey of gulf grass beds. of 4 surveyed, there was no loss in the worst case and the best one has doubled in size. Fishing has been gradually recovering. I watched a fishing show last night. They were catching trout and nice snook in Sarasota Bay where they were scarce a few years ago. Annual migrations and the big rearing pond to the west will hopefully help it keep bouncing back. In shore has been tougher this year with all the cold fronts. Wish I had a bigger boat to get out to the deeper water. $600 charter doesn’t make sense for one person. By mid April with up-nort blood from this year. You will likely be looking for some air conditioning. Good luck!!

The real question is cottontail, snowshoe hare, or jack rabbit?
