    BURP!!!

Wow Sheldon, you were strongly committed to posting your creations. laugh

Tonight I learned how you can make 8″ crappies look like 12″ crappies by beer battering them and deep frying. Something I’ve never tried before until I just got this little deep fryer.

Better than I imagined at home. BTW, peas were just the garnish… coffee

A friend of mine got turned around on Lake Street one evening and asked directions from a couple of nice women and ended up trussed up like one of those birds. He doesn’t mention the experience much so it must have been a dandy evening. I don’t think that kind of smoke as involved because it took a week for his pupils to get back to normal.

Our grocery deli has a killer garlic bologna. The big challenge is getting person behind counter to know what a 1/4” cut is.

Back in the late 60’s, very early 70’s…..before Lake Street went to the dark side….we’d make a weekend night of it in the bars. Pretty rough even back then. Hooker Heaven we called it. Today you don’t know what you have until the tidies come off I guess. We had a couple “incidents” and figured out that we ere better off in the suburbs if we wanted Twin City action. Honestly though, we had better times in La Crosse. Oh, the tales one can tell from that era. lol Your Uncle’s Club….what a place and the chickies……
