Looks GREAT, Pickle! The Blackstone make the best burgers! Almost never on the grill for me anymore. Flat top all the way!
Was cool enough to fire up the oven do a chuck roast and all the goodies.
If momma wants steak she gets steak. potatoes are a pack in the store. Grilled about 40 minutes. Bush grilling beans too
Keeping it simple at the cabin. That frosted mug contains root beer…no ice.
Put two #6.5 butts on at 1015 this morning
How long do they go for? I wish I was home at 10 am on a weekday. Im a little jealous
Just over 8 hours for a internal temp of 200 degrees. I work shift work including nights/weekends/holidays so my schedule is all the the place. It’s nice having days off during the week though
No finished pic? Nothing like seeing some well made butts.
I didn’t get any finished pics of the butts they were so tender and just fell apart when I unwrapped them. Here’s a pic of it shredded in a bowl though ha.
Starting a leftovers them here, I guess. Yesterday’s boneless smoked chicken thighs on a sandwich topped with leftover Mexican street corn and Gouda cheese.
Fresh caught coho salmon and lake trout on the pellet grill . Had asparagus and wild rice as sides. So good I forgot to take a picture of the plate !
Kabobs by cashwise. Side dish was the old reliable ramen noodles.
Smoked chicken AND ribs! ‘Cuz sometimes you just can’t decide which! 🤷♀️😋
Oh man! That looks great Sharon. I have two whole farm-fresh chickens in the freezer right now. May bust out the smoker this coming weekend, better start getting a brine together!
Oh man! That looks great Sharon.
I should add a note – I didn’t cook this! But I sure enjoyed eating it! I have a grill and a smoker – my goal is to learn to use them at some point. Maybe.
Not really for supper, but I AM full. this is half of the 40 lbs of blueberries we just cleaned up and put in the freezer.
Double batch of sketti, leftovers for the cabin in about 12 days!!
Looks good Glenn , being Italian Sunday spaghetti was a staple in my family, miss the big family meals.
Serf and turf, grilled venison backstrap , coho salmon and corn on the cob and green beans .

I must say the venison and coho looked like they’re cooked to perfection. Been hoarding one last half of a backstrap from last fall. I’m thinking it’s about time to thaw it out.
Well Carp! I’m yelouse!!

First BLT’S of the season.
Me too. I’ve probably got another week to wait. It’s killing me. Started mine from seed inside on 4/18 and put them in the ground 5/22. Glenn must have the perfect tomato microclimate. I do have a couple dozen jalapenos and pickling cucumbers ready for canning now. The ghost peppers went from zero spice to as hot as a jalapeno in the last week. In a week or two I won’t even touch them but my wife will. Nothing’s too spicy for her.
Sorry for the hijack. Grilling some chicken thighs and making some rice and mushrooms on the side. My sister gave me a pint jar each of dried morels and oyster mushrooms.
Had BLTs and fresh Sweet Corn on the Cob last night! One of the BEST summer meals there is!
Sunfish, skin on of course, corn on the cob, cukes and maters. Num num.
