If you haven’t tried it- green Tabasco sauce on fried fish is fantastic, I’ve turned many people including Canadian guides on to it.

When I’m frying fish, I can be found with a crispy fried fillet in my left hand and alternating bottle of hot sauce and cold beer in my right!
I tried my hand at an “Italian MeatLoaf”
Anyway this was my take on it.
3 ground meats, onions, mushies, seasonings, marinara sauce and mozzie cheese. rolled up and wrapped in pig bellie and smoked.
That looks great!
Between the great dinners & Sharon’s goodies, brings back my 100% Norwegian grandmas love. She Baked 30dz cookies a day & cooked for the town of excelsior every day.
Yeah Glenn, not sure what is better but what a nice evening!

I’ll be headed back up wed or Thursday.
Pork shoulder steaks over charcoal, complemented with boiled taters fried in butter and onions with frozen mixed veggies.
Looks really good, I need to have pork more often!
Yea I bet all that venison and fish gets old after a while.
Thanks.

Well actually tonight I had beef tenderloin and corn on the cob on the new pellet grill I got for Father’s Day!!
Wish I could eat my fav food- corn on the cob… corn triggers an immediate flare up of diverticulitis which involves 10 days of antibiotics.
Not a recent pic, but this was an Ely shore lunch.
Well I didn’t get any pics before hand but,,,
Dinner tonight was;
Oven roasted parmesan herb yukon gold potatoes
Skewered marinated fresh gulf XL shrimp (less than 30 hours harvested) over a weberfire
Accompanied with a scaled red snapper with skin side down with fresh lemon, butter, a touch of evoo and seasonings.
Fresh cut French fries (not pictured) and pike/walleye for 6 last weekend.
Fresh grilled lake trout and probably a few more beers!
A modified tool box is cool, but this… just ain’t right.
I’m really liking the new pellet grill, grilled venison backstrap, didn’t make anything else, too hot out !
We had a Steak feast on the 4th with delicious Roseberg Beef.
It’s been entirely too long since I’ve had meat and potatoes on the grill… 🤤🤤🤤 Talk about mouth watering!

dang……..i like that butter idea. gotta try that!!!!!!
Leftover smash burgers with onions and mushrooms off the Blackstone. I think if I was using an 8″ skillet I’d still have trouble making a meal for just two people.
