Super one had beef tenderloins on sale for $7/lb. can’t pass that deal up……
Grilled venison backstraps and asparagus. Turned out perfect.
Coletrain, I’m just thinking, I probably work down the road from you at some point. It wouldn’t be any trouble for me to swing by and grab a bite. You always seem to have plenty!
man i’m glad you guys have time to take pics of your food…..sure makes me hungry! I usually destroy my plate, let alone take pics! maybe someday I will be able to control myself?
I have a whole separate album on my phone of cooking stuff. When you feel like grilling something it’s fun to look at them and get some ideas of something to make
Did 5 racks of baby backs. One for tonight and freeze the rest for dinners
Bacon wrapped filet’s,baked tater’s and fresh garden lettuce n kale salad.Oh forgot half a dozen leinies.
We grill-baked some spuds to go along with some nice scallops, also grilled and basted with olive oil. A salad of fresh-from-the-garden leaf lettuce rounded things out. A guy just has to love scallops….no skin, no shell, no bones. Just succulent eating.
Made baby backs and baked beans on the smoker. Broccoli salad too. I was a little slow on the photo.

That’s how you know it’s a REALLY good meal! 😋
This might be my first post to IDO (maybe) even though I have been following for years. Tom’s dinner inspired me to break my lurking habits and share a pic of our scallops and spuds we grilled tonight. Our side greens were garden kale.

Baby backs are carrying a theme tonight. Getting close now, baked potatoes, corn on the cob…and yes, we got broccoli salad too.
No offense, but corn on the cob doesn’t hit my grill until the end of July when the local farms start putting out.

Welcome aboard Ron.
Those scallops look nice. I love the jumbos and find it hard to decide which I like better, roast on the grill or broiled. Either way I’ll not be too far from the gout medicine for a couple days and lots of water.

Yes, I used to hold myself to the same standard as well.
But then I came to the realization that broccoli now too is not local, and dang it still compliments the meal with that broccoli salad.
That imported broccoli and sweet corn ain’t half bad.
Thus the ribs, baked potato, corn and broccoli salad.
I’m going to grill some baby backs and pineapple this afternoon. Fresh garden leaf lettuce salad again…never get tired of it and it only lasts so long especially with this heat.
Nothing says summer like a burger for dinner! Complete with crispy tater tots and green beans! 😋
Hey @pailofperch, it’s not peas this time! 😁
Taco salad with the last of the venison burger for us.
Able to snap a quick pic before I destroyed it!
Marinated seared flank steak with homemade chimichurri parsley red potatoes and tomato/onion side for a fresh kick.
Both dishes look great, guys! And I think I’m the only adult without children who primarily uses plastic plates… 😅

Carrying on the theme of burgers, Monday night means keep it simple.
Grilled burger, potato “crowns” and more broccoli salad.
Siracha shrimp tacos tonight with homemade pico and avocado sauce
Had left over brisket from the weekend. Made some brisket enchiladas for dinner last night. They were delicious!
