I did a teriyaki pork last night. Carrots from the garden, celery, mushrooms, pork chops boned and sliced, lots ginger, garlic and teriyaki sauce….all served up on chow mien noodles.
There was about enough for one light lunch left but I see the woman got to it first,so now she’s making me a couple chicken sandwiches.
Thanks for the kudos all!
Tom that looks Great! A bed of rice or even rice noodles would be a treat as well. I wish I could get momma into oriental food! I love it, she well,,,, not so much.
We made fish tacos, second time this week. Tonight’s were mostly bluegill.
Annie made a tangy slaw this time and I topped them with homemade Scotch Bonnet pepper sauce.
Ya big gill, we have a Pho restaurant 6 blocks down the road, i stopped in and ordered what I thought looked good and after I ate it it was good. The only thing I couldn’t do was to assemble the ingredients that the dish cam with. The food was good but they knew I was new at what portions to assemble with what other, clearly this was my first visit and I love oriental food, maybe Ill try it again soon because I heard it was good eating, The parking lot is full at night so Id better sharpen up the chop sticks and bring along more money so I can afford to hire a waitress to show me how to eat whats on the plate, but I do know in Pho dining fresh is the key to eating it right.
Apple & cranberry stuffed boneless pork chops from meatheads in red wing.

Braised beef short ribs, roasted carrots and potatoes with cremins mushroom gravy.
My creamy turtle soup recipe but today I used the turkey meat that I baked yesterday, in place of the turtle. Call it a dry run for the turtle in my freezer!
Fantastic ! Hat tipped to Lupe from Lacrosse area. I used Lupe’s potato soup recipe as my foundation.
