It’s raining like crazy out and I’m thinking the same thing. Downtown kind of sucks for lunch, only so many places you can get to without schlepping outside….

Lion’s Tap in EP or Mackenthun’s in St. Boni! (assuming you work in the SW metro…)

Both great suggestions bigwerm. Ended up going to Joey novas for one of their gigantic slices of pizza. Very tasty

Nice, I’m partial to Gina Maria’s myself, but all pizza is good pizza. I’ll have to check that out next time I’m in Excelsior.

Taco Bowl… Chicken, Rice, Quinoa, black beans, refried beans, onions, corn, tomatoes, salsa, lettuce all mixed together.

We’ll make 10 identical meals (5 lunches for me, 5 for my wife) every Sunday evening. Cheap, healthy, convenient way of eating lunch throughout the week. Just grab the container for the day out of the fridge. Only downfall is that it’s the same lunch every day for a week, not a big deal to me, but some people mention they couldn’t do that when talking about meal prep.

    That’s different all right… coffee

As someone that eats out way too often I only have one rule, no chains, but on the rare occasions I break that rule it’s at five guys or a sandwich at Jersey Mikes. Their #13 is dynamite, I like that they slice the meat and cheese right in front of you.

I just beached myself at work on Oak Roads Bar and Grill in Oak Grove. We did take out breakfast for lunch and there meat lovers skillet is awesome. I know most of you guys are south metro but if you get up that way it is worth it. Others got pancakes and there huge!

I’m at the shack so lunch today was two brats cooked over the fire on a stick.

Lol yeah. Chair has been around forever. The old timers would never throw away anything that had the slightest degree of funtion. I guess that works for me too

Wow! Strangely reminiscent of Billy’s family deer shack! Right down to the old wonky chairs they never wanted to throw out. 🤣😅

Don’t try picking up a slice of Joey novas pizza by the crust. Unless you like wearing the toppings or having them dump on the plate. I’ve asked to have it well done, hoping the crust would crisp up, still soggy crust.
