Some homemade bacon and tostadas topped with mashed and seasoned black beans, scrambled eggs, caramelized onion, yellow bell pepper, chipotle powder, Mexican crema, cilantro, and cotija cheese. I was stuffed. One tostada would have been enough. On our finest china, of course.

Sometimes a cheap basic breakfast is just what the Dr ordered. Aunt Jemima pancakes and Kwik Trip bacon.

Happy Friday! I made some gooey cinnamon rolls in the office kitchen this morning and they’re great with a hot cuppa coffee.

Good amount of glazing. Seems like every bakery nowadays wants you to swim in the stuff.

Back to some breakfast tostadas today. Homemade pico de gallo with serrano and jalapeno from the garden, homemade refried beans, and soft scrambled eggs with chorizo.

I’d love to take credit, but my wife’s cousin just started a cottage bakery at home making all things sourdough. So we ordered a couple dozen bagels and she shipped them to us. She goes by The Blessed Baker on Facebook if anyone wants to order something, she lives in Pepin.

Love me a good breakfast sammy. Dont know why I dont like the taste of ham on them though. Maybe a thick chunk would be ok but not the thin sliced stuff.

I am the same for what ever reason. No ham on my breakfast sandwiches. But boy do I love making breakfast sandwiches with bacon and sausage.

Yesterday I celebrated six months with my special guy so I made us a homemade breakfast! Hashbrowns are tricky but they weren’t bad. I just need to keep practicing! waytogo

Im not a big omelet guy but do make them often cause the old lady likes them. I would say the same thing. Cubed up chunks I would be ok with but not the thin sliced stuff.

Last one i made for the kids mom was a garden surprise. I had one sad lookin bell pepper a few straggley spinaches and one lonely tomato. Chopped them up with a little onion bacon and some cheese. She said it was delicious. Definitely have gotten more patient cause you gotta cook them slow if you wanna fold or roll them without the eggs breaking.
