I’d really Like a Prime Rib or some type of sea food. But since its just the wife and I and she does not like either, I think I’ll probably just grill myself a Big Juicy Ribeye and her a Pork chop on the pellet grill. Add in a Baked Potato and some bacon wrapped asparagus and call it a day. Really enjoy hearing some of your yummy traditions or choices.

Mama’s out of town for two nights and since her favorite meal is EVERY type of pasta dish, I’ll be making pasta when she gets back Sun night.

We bought 20lbs of crab legs and I’ll turn some ribeyes in to my favorite steak sandwiches that I make. Just chill with the kids and eat.

Crag legs and maybe some oysters on the half shell if they are looking good.

An old wives tale from my hillbilly ancestors is to cook a mess of dried beans with a penny in it to have money all year long.

Been told I eat too much elk, deer, and fish. So I opted for some very fatty beef

neighbor brought me some pork chops and tenderloin. chops on the weber tonight were the bomb!

tenderloin tomorrow I guess? what is the best way to cook one up? I usually cut em up into steaks for the weber but thinking of doing a sear and into the oven to finish?

Fresh pheasant and grouse I shot the last few days. Using a new cream gravy recipe. Also using duck fat in the process for the first time.

Surf and Turf. Beef tenderloin, crab legs, and shrimp along with sides and my niece is making a cake for dessert – my bro’s birthday today in addition to New Year celebration.
I better get the grill going.

    Happy New Year to all!

We were at a hockey tournament in Fargo all weekend and exhausted. It was Chinese take-out and an early bedtime for me. The Vikings sure didn’t provide a good enough reason to stay awake past halftime.
