what to start with?

    Going to hit the river Friday, not sure how I should start, trolling cranks, or lindy rigging or should I just jig? Wondering what everyones thoughts are? Any help would be appreicated…

    Not sure what species you are targeting but the Walleye are going pretty good right now on Pool 9 with the falling level. Jigging crawlers and leaches as well as trolling cranks.

    Kevin,

    If you figure it out, let us know. ) I haven’t been on the Croix for weeks and mid-summer is tough for me to catch walleye out there.

    I’d be ready to do a little of each but my vote would be to start with the live bait/lindy setup.

    All the guys I’ve talked to haven’t been out for some time, so nothing to push you in the right direction with.
