What to do with a couple of hours to kill on a sunny day….

    I got my chores done early & decided I needed a break. So……I found some night crawlers, grabbed my extra poles, & headed to a hot spot near Black Bridge south of Mazeppa. I figured there should be some suckers wanting to fight, and there were. A couple of hours of sitting on the sunny, warm banks of the Zumbro produced a couple of keepers & one ‘bring to shore and release’ (not my choice!) and about a dozen gentle tap, gentle tap, set the hook, #}%^* missed him again suckers! A great way to spend a lazy afternoon! And now, I think a nap is in order!

    Looks good. I have been targeting suckers up north the last 3 weekends with no success. They either show up this weekend or I am done with them.
    Hoping to get a few upper teens for smoking.
