Thinking of coming up mid next week to get some time on the big lake. I normally come up early in the year and troll in the bay right out of Ashland. I have never come up in July. Is trolling in the bay still productive in July? I would be open to fishing for Lakers or trout if the bay by Ashland is no longer a good option. I have trolling gear for walleye and a few leadcore setups. Can grab some boards if needed. I read trolling stick baits up north of Washburn might be an option as well. Is it to late for that now? Thanks!
