Coming up with Dad and Cousin September 21,22,23 fishing for walleye. Only been up one time in spring to Oconto but open to go where ever you think the best bite would be that time of year. Any advice would be a huge help driving 6 hours from central Iowa. Thanks in advance fella’s!! this site is awesome
Both sides of the bay are producing fish right now. I’d base the area fished on wind direction. The casting bite, jigging raps and 4 – 6 inch swimbaits has really picked up in the last week.

Last week we stayed at the Oconto motel. It’s nothing fancy but for $58/night for three guys the price is right.
I think we are going Oconto area any reports lately would be appreciated
