2-3 lb line or 4-6 lb line. That will do good for all of them. i think 4lb. ??

I vote 6lb while changing the leader (Florocarbon) as needed for smaller vs. larger fish.

    Tyler:

Which kind of line are you using and as slipperybob noted are you open water or icefishing???

If I am using a braid, generally I am using 10# which has a 2# line diameter. Then I am using a 10# floro for my lead.

If I am fishing mono and fishing panfish, I am usually spooling up with 2# in more weedfree areas, then 4# a little bit, but more than likely I am fishing 6# for anything else, unless I am getting into the wood/dark water situation, then I might spool up heavier to 10#/12#…

If you have just one rod and one spool, I would push toward 4 lb. Since you said occasional walleye, your focus seems to be on panfish. 4 lb will be ok for panfish (2-3# better) and will (could) handle the occasional eye or small pike/bass that you often run into while panfishing.
