What kind of line for Mille Lacs?

I am wondering what the kind of line I should use for a clear water lake like Mille Lacs on jigging rods? What is the least visible? I fish U.R.L. and use braid there but, the water is stained. I have a couple rods that I don’t have line on yet and am going to rig them for clear water (Mille Lacs). Any info and advice welcome thanks.

Keep it simple. Just take the rods you use on URL with the braid and splice in a 4-6 foot length of 6 pound fluorocarbon leader and you’re all set.

6# Suffix fluoro for me. I don’t like that braid freezes up fishing outside in cold days but adding a leader exactly as mentioned above will work for your braid rods.

I like the 6# suffix ice magic myself.

flouro leader or main line. If you are outside the braid will freeze up on you.
One time I was sitting out on the ice at Big Point with two lines. One was 4# clear mono, the other flourocarbon. Caught a bunch of nice perch and a 19″ walleye on the flouro and NOTHING on the mono.
