Garry are you using plastic or glass beads? I have sometimes used beads on the other side of the hook-thoughts
I just used small plastic fluorescent colored beads. Think in terms of what you’d find coming with a pre-tied slip float string-knot. I just slid the beads over the hook’s barb, then hung the hooks by the hook on a small dowel suspended over a small open box and went from hook to hook putting a single drop of super glue at the hole in the bead. Leave them a day to harden and you’re good to go. Check each hook eye to be sure the glue didn’t migrate and fill it. If it did clean the eye before heading out to fish.
