We had ice push sand up onto our yard this winter. This lure was on top of a pile of sand. I’m guessing it’s been in the lake for many years. Any idea who made it? I have had no luck trying to identify it.

No clue but that has got to be old as heck. First frog lure?

Quick google and it looks similar to the Pflueger Kent Floater Frog. My guess would be a home made lure from the same era 1905. Cool find

I don’t know but its cool. I would spray that with lacquer to preserve what’s left, and then try to make a replica.

It has rubber legs, well only 1. They look like a mister twister. The hook was broken off. Looks like wires for the legs underneath. Here’s an underneath pic

A quick google says rubber baits were invented in 1949. It must be newer than 1949.
