What is this belt loop for?

    Duluth Trading Firehose pants. Belt loop is by the front right pocket. Is it for attaching a set of keys or…?

    It’s Probably for the same thing as the D ring hanging off all my hiking pants. Your loop is in the same place as my d ring. Sorry no help

    Little pocket is for leatherman.
    Don’t wear it on my belt and it doesn’t have a pocket clip.

    I imagine the Duluth guys put that loop there so their boyfriends could use it for a thumb hole when they are walking around.
    But it’s most likely caribeaner hanger. I can’t stand hanging keys on the front of my waist. They go on my side loop and half tucked in my back pocket.
