If that’s a coon, that’s incredible! It’s not dark enough to be a black bear….

That’s a tough one, stinks no head shot- it came through hot like a wild hog or a chupacabra. I can’t tell what it is but I am no deer cam expert.

No doubt to me it’s a big bore coon. Frame in top pic you catch the mask face, the body shape, aND the appearance oF the pelt.

Check with @BeachBrian. I am pretty sure it has to do with the legend of Tuskhana, Maiden of the Crows.

Here’s big coon I guess would be pushing the 35# to 40# range. Compare it to the size of the rib cage of a mature buck.

Lindsey with her first two coon. big coon weighed 42#. the coon on the left was a typical 15 or so # coon

that coon in the video has an awful short tail, must have been in the grasp of something.

In the years that I have thye time to do a lot of trapping, I put up 200-300 coon on average. A lot of the big old coon I get have their tails gone or down to a stub. Just glad the pelts don’t get docked for that.

I was wondering that too, but the images are in reverse. I think the coon is coming into the frame, not leaving it as I first thought. Check the time stamps.

I was referring to Randy’s video, not the OP still shots.

I can’t believe that’s a coon I captured! Biggest I’ve seen, ever. But yes, it was coming into the frame.
