Anyone know what this small clear button is above the auxiliary power switch? The boat is a 97 Tyee grand sport 1850. It is wired to one of the batteries and has another wire hanging loose.

I would guess a simple idiot light to indicate that the main power is on.

Horn is located on the other side of the dash.

Also seems to be no spot for a lightbulb so not sure it’s a light.

If that has a little button under the bubble, I would think that would be what it is.

    X3 Circuit Breaker Reset

The cover is soft rubber and you can see the button underneath.

Seems that is a push button circuit breaker with a protected boot. I don’t believe it is protecting anything because it is only wired to the battery with the other lead not hooked to anything. Everything seems to be working so at least some of the mystery is solved.

Thanks Dave. I will try and contact Lund to see what is supposed to be protecting.

For my own education, does a 97 have circuits or fuses?

My 92 has fuses which blow and cannot be reset but replaced.

Just curious if circuits replaced fuses at some point?

At one time that button was connected to a fish horn. If fishing was slow you would push it and the fish would come swimming to you. The previous owner must have kept the horn when he sold you the boat.

My guess would be a reset of some kind. Let us know what Lund says.

My guess main power circuit reset button…….or it activates the flux capacitor…
