I’ve been searching online and some of these wheelhouse manufacturers do not have very clear websites.
    I’d like a 6.5 x 8 or 10.
Not to interested in a Castle only because of weight, will be pulling with a SXS.

    TIA.

I’d bet yeti or firebrand makes a 6.5 x 8’ wheelhouse. Or they’d custome make you one. I’d call Westres marine in St. Cloud, or Nothland Auto in Milaca.

I’m pretty sure Core Ice makes a 6.5×8.

To all the skid house guys, I think EPG said “wheelhouse”…?

EPG, I’ve been looking at Ridgelines. They look nice. Unless you wanted a decked out one then I’d do as Drifter said and look at Firebrand or Yeti. I’m looking for something simple.

They get BIG bucks for those little skid houses, I bet wheels doubles that.

BC – I woulda got the 14 x 70 but Drifter bought the last one. wink

    Good one Sheldon. waytogo

Kabekona – You looking at Outlet Recreation in Xlake?

Drifter – I was thinking of contacting Yeti and FB. I’m not a big fan of the FB 6.5’s because the wheel wells encroach into the interior a bit.
With how backed up they are I might need to order today to get it by the 2025 season. crazy

and due to the logistics at our cabin I would need a wheelhouse.

Ya I am looking at Cross lake. Sorry saw small and assumed incorrectly. I can access the lake easily so a really small skit is all I need. I agree with Joe Ridgeline is one of the few doing small wheel houses. I think Ice Forts In Baxter will do small Yetties as well. Shell only etc.

Obviously I’m sure you’re doing plenty of your own searching, you crossed Ice Castle off your list due to weight?

They have Grandpa’s Hideout in 8 and 10′ options. Is there a significant weight difference between those and other brands?

You would qualify for the Hideout now that you’re a grandpa. smile

I would be remiss not to say the Zack Shack. Mine is 6×10, and extremely light weight. Easy to set up, I can drop it myself in less than a minute. Although, I think that Ridgeline are better built than the original Zack Shack, I’ve heard the new Zach Shack’s are solidly built with a better door system, etc.

Full-Disclosure: I’m about to post a question on the forum about an issue I have with my Zack Shack.
