What is a Sauger?

    Not familiar with what a Sauger is or looks like.

    Close cousin to the Walleye. They don’t get as big, but are a very agressive predator. You can find any amount of info you’d ever want to know about them on Google.

    Love catching them. Seem to have a bit more fight in them than a walleye does.

    How about the walleye/ sauger hybrid saugeye or as I refer to them, wallger.
