Let’s play pretend, let’s pretend a very large tree fell on your boat. Who do you have it seen by for structural damage to the boat, welds, trailer, motor, etc.? Are there specialists to call or what?

    Asking for a friend…..

Fill up the inside with pretend water and see if any runs out. That will identify leaks, structural damage is another situation all together.

You can also have your insurance agent find somebody, unless you are self insured. shock

Did this tree fall of your “friends” boat after they cut it down?

Place in delano,mn. Anchor marine I think it’s called. They do a lot of repairs on boats. Might be a good place to call for info.

I would get my adjuster out first and foremost.

Depending on the damage they should be able to recommend somebody to look at your boat. I mean your friend’s boat.

The adjuster may just recommend Flex tape. LOL

Idk eelpout, you have alot more faith in the insurance companies than I would, even if this friend had insurance he sure wouldn’t trust what the adjuster thinks is right.

    Self insured. City tree.

No insurance? Hope it wasn’t of much value. Salvage what you can and start boat shopping.

Was anyone around when the tree fell? Just wondering if it made noise?

How do you know that your friends homeowners insurance won’t pay for it? It’s worth a call.

When I was shopping around for new home owner insurance I asked them all about my boat. All the big players covered some. One even covered up to $5k without anything special added to the home coverage.

Why would you need beverage holders if you never put your beverage down
