The one that horrifies me is people that drink a lot of these high-powered energy drinks. Yikes.
My kids found some video that detailed industrial uses for ingredients commonly found in energy drinks. Paint stripper, degreaser, etchant, etc.

Humans are also the only species that has domesticated other animals. Unless you have conquered this step accessing milk from another species is quite challenging.
Lol, quite challenging indeed sir!

Something I need to cut back on. Usually a few a week. Young kids man
^The only thing worse than the chemicals in those things is the cost. Watch someone at a gas station buy a pack of cigs and a couple energy drinks….and it’s absurd what it costs for them to just slowly kill themselves.

And they do it every day. I work for a contractor and it’s a ritual for folks to stop every morning and get their “supplies”.
$13 a day for a soda/energy drink and a pack of cigs, 5 days per week….totaling roughly 250 typical work days in a year.
That’s well over $3000 a year even if you don’t work every typical work day. Then factor in what that will likely do someday to your health and the surrounding expenses, and what you get is increased health insurance rates for everyone!

Although not probably as bad for your health, but people with their fancy coffee habits probably spend just as much a year. The # of coffee places here in the St. cloud area blows my mind. All of them always seem to have cars lined up around them or line’s full of people. Its really crazy with younger people. Lots of them having 2-3 high priced coffee’s a day.
Agreed^
I love coffee, but brewed at home from the same coffee maker…Folgers Breakfast Blend…with about a tablespoon of creamer. I drink those 16 ounces of coffee out of the same traveling mug 365 days a year.
My coworker drinks a full pot of coffee per day himself, every single day of the year. That for sure has to be more than the average person. He will polish that caffeine high off with a 20 ounce Coke in the afternoon when I run into him.

Just wait tell more dispensaries pop up. That will really eat into peoples budgets fast. Smokes, energy drink and a little grass everyday will be insane.
i forgot 1 thing…….you dig it/make it in the month with an ‘R” in it. i do mine in OCT!!
Dont you mean months that end in “R”. Hard digging in JanuaRy FebRuaRy MaRch ApRil
I’d say I eat waterfowl more than most. Probably three days a week average. A couple good snow goose hunts yields a lot of meat in the freezer. Plus all the duck and other gooses. About half is processed in to various goodies.
And usually whiskey and too much of it but I’m doing dry January for the first time. And that has increased my intake of sweets. Usually not a sweets guy at all but getting sugar cravings with no booze. Lots of sugar in liquor and beer.

Sure hope the Snows are mostly processed into something. Not sure how you could eat many of those nasty tasting thing. We use to shoot a pile of them. 99.9% ended up ground up and made into Jerky. You could not pay me to eat one baked.
B-man so your wife likes avocados?
Gives you a good reason to shower twice a day.
Several years ago it was grouse, we’d knock down our limits several times each fall. Now the dog gives me the “I did all that work and you missed” look far too often.
Ah, energy drinks… I don’t drink a lot of them – but sometimes you’re on a fishing trip with your buddies who golf more than fish. You stayed up too late the night before and it’s time to start the party again the next day. You’re barley staying awake jigging walleye because that’s the only technique your golfer-turned-fishing buddies know how to do. And DANG does Monster taste yummy with Vodka! That’s when I drink energy drinks.

All I’ll say is my wife loves me a lot more than once-a-year on my birthday
Bless her heart
