We hooked up with these 2 fish. Not the right patterns for a pike nor pickerel, and this body of water doesn’t have muskies in it. Anyone know what they are?

    Green sunfish. Welcome to IDO!

Im not 100% sure but I think they’re just pike. When they are very small, less than 10”, pike usually look like that.

The tail on the second one make me think it’s a tiger musky but everything else looks like pike.

Maybe pickerel. I’ve never seen one.

You are from NY? Could be a pickerel. I’m not sure how you distinguish them from the rest of the pike family.
