What action do I have now?

I broke the top 2″ of a 34″ Thorne Bros quiverstick when I closed my case on it in the dark last year. Rod still looks functional, but for fun what kind of rod do you think I have? I mean, it probably doesn’t have the action exactly of a quiverstick, but has it become a perch sweetheart, or something else?

Ya….tried using a Frosbite Drench after breaking the tip last year, to no avail. Turned it into a Finniky fooler (hookset version) or jawjacker rod, works well for that.

Try it with an 1/8 oz spoon now. You wont be disappointed. I have two of them built that way. Great jigging rod for aggressive panfish and a pinhead spoon or tikka flash.

You now have a crappie action.

I’ll be here all week. Try the veal.
