    Finally made it out on a local lake this afternoon. We found 4″ of good ice in the area we tried. Didn’t have much action, just a few small ones. Marked plenty with the LX7. Was just happy to get out on the hard water and start another season.

    Call me jealous! My feet hit the ice for the first time this season on Monday AM around day break.

    5″ in swmn. Went out last night, got some walleye in the fridge.
