Will be heading up to West Battle Feb.4th-6th,hoping to get on some crappies and walleye. With the possibility of switching to Otter Tail if West Battle is slow. Has anyone been out and know what ice thickness and snow cover is like? Also if anyone knows what’s working and what’s not? Any info would be great. Thanks.

Most guys are baja-ing it with their trucks out there. Sharp breaks adjacent to 16-18 fow weedy flats are good bets for crappies. Deep saddles have worked well for walleye in the past. Good luck

It was cold and windy the whole time we were out there. The small perch were easy to find. We were in 35fow the first day and the second day about 25feet. Also caught one northern that was about 20inches long. I’m sure that h cold front didn’t help matters much
