I’m headed to the in laws on Nokomis for Saturday then back to Solberg for Sunday / Monday. Report after the weekend. Good luck out there!

Hayward area. I’ll probably get out to the Chippewa Flowage at some point to nab a walleye for dinner. But otherwise, I’m spending my time going after smallies. Saturday can’t get here soon enough. Crappie fishing today and tomorrow to help me keep my sanity.

I’m going to fish the Merrill Flowage Sat. To many people on the opener and wait to go on the Willow or Rainbow Flowage on Monday.

Nokomis: last night was great for shallow crappies before the cold front hit. Today we caught alot of pike also up shallow. Nothing big but still fun. Solberg tomorrow…..

Had a good Saturday for walleye, decent numbers, decent sizes including some slot fish to release. Wicked wind/weather pattern made it difficult at times where we were. Stayed home for Mothers Day…next weekend! (or, maybe Friday whistling ).

Wow Reverend, sounds like you did good. It was very slow for us on Solberg, disappointingly so. Maybe next time….

Sorry to hear that…getting out this weekend? I’m riding the fence. With the forecast, I’m tempted to put a dent in my endless list of spring chores…maybe go find a trout?
