Hopefully he has a good showing in the top 10, however I don’t think he can compete with the southern boys on their lakes and with many of the top Elites who went to MLF being allowed to fish the classic, a top 10 to me would be an accomplishment. He does so much better on the northern lakes. I was kind of surprised to see him stay with the Elites but he is now kind of one of the top Elites in regards to name recognition. See a lot more of him now on Bassmaster.

Seth, I meant no disrespect. I have met you and talked with you through the MLSA and wearing your dad’s old jacket is pretty cool. I just think that the competition will be very tough and while everyone wants to win, a top 10 is something to be proud of. I truly hope you are standing on the stage on the last day with hands raised high.

Got to love his dads old school BASS Jacket. I hope it brings him some luck. It would be nice to see him wearing it all year. You know he will if he does well. He’s rather Superstitious.

Hanging tough early on. Currently showing in 11th. Highest fishermen with only 3 fish. Got a decent average going. If he can round out his limit with this average and then gets a nice Kicker fish he will be right there after day #1

6# back. Feeling confident, I just need a couple big girls. Just need to finish my bologna sandwich and get back at it.

I would assume so, kinda of hard to check forums, since he isn’t ever on it. lol.

troutbum your the fxxxing tool. While taking home the grand prize is of course everyone’s dream, a top 10 on this body of water would be a major accomplishment. The field is stacked with all the best previous Elites.

Can’t complain about a guy getting to live his dream. I can think of many, many Bass guys who have neither the money, time or talent to compete on that level let alone win.

I’d much rather see a local win then some squealing clown from New Jersey.

Basstrak still shows him at 4 fish late in the Day. Sure hope he gets his 5th fish. If not its really going to hurt him. Its kind of crazy how many are having a hard time just getting a limit of fish. Having a 18″ minimum on the smallmouth bass doesn’t help.

Seth F is my alter ego and I post short replies with him once in a while. It started out as fun, but my wife has guilted me into admitting it after she read the topic. I meant no harm.

Seth will still come back from time to time…. especially in the mille lacs section.
