After a lot of driving, I made it home with the new (to me) dominator.

Haven’t had it on the water, haven’t even had a chance to put any of my stuff in it yet, but she’s home. This is a huge upgrade from our little 1625 fury xl. Can’t wait to see this baby float.

I’m a bit sad for the boat, honestly. Seems a shame that it won’t see many fish in it since you can’t even catch a cold.

I don’t remember how many walleye you’ve reeled in this year, brother, but I know I’m sitting around 30.

Do what I did when I got my first (nice, big) boat. After sitting all evening in the driver seat screaming wide open engine sounds…wwhhaaeennhh, aaeeehhnnhea,
Make sure you brought out your sleeping bag and a pillow so you can sleep in it. jester

Nice looking rig! wink I’ve got the 185 with a 150 and does mid forties loaded to the gills. That 175 should really scoot!

Am I looking at the right picture or doesn’t his have a 150? Anyway, how’d you sleep last night Matt? grin
Edit: I caught on (I think), the boat is a 17’5″

I slept terrible. Not because of the boat, though. We let our 5 year old share our bed last night and he tossed and turned so much I think I’m bruised from my toes to my shoulders. Incredibly rare that we let him sleep with us, and now I remember why.

That said, we did get the boat out today for about 5 hours. Didnt do much fiahing, but did a ton of swimming and playing. I can’t believe how in love with this thing we are. And I can’t believe the power! My old boat topped out about 31mph, while this thing does 31 at about a quarter throttle.

What year is it? It looks brand new, I like the black and white.

2014. Aside from a bunch of rock chips which are unfortunate, it basically is brand new. Only 29 hours of motor use.
