One dead from a stabbing at Harding High School in St. Paul. (story is behind the star tribune pay wall) So I expect they will introduce anti- knife legislation next week.

You think you guys could let the blood dry from these kids before you politicize this and make it what you want?

It’s been made clear many times that the GOP could care less about dead children.

I’m not looking to blame anyone, politicize the situation, or debate anything.

It’s just very hard to comprehend how messed up society is.

No, it’s just the classic Dutch boy way to stir the pot and sit back and watch and think it’s funny because he’s old and bored

Kids killing kids isn’t a political problem, IT”S A PARENTING PROBLEM! too many parents aren’t involved with their kids, don’t spend any quality time with them, don’t know what the kids are doing half the time, don’t take the time to teach right from wrong, but seem to be teaching ” what you can get away with”

Right, how many have barely a parent in their lives ? Absentee fathers or mothers ? Yet most humans learn early on the difference between right and wrong , hating is a learned behavior . Grew up in a family with an abusive alcoholic father yet i never stabbed anyone or shot anyone . Came close , for the grace of God there i go .Sad times we live in.

Oops, I did have a 3 day once from a over-zealous trigger finger. But that was some time ago.

    Sad event.

Parents – yes I blame the parents too. Too often though parents cannot manage their own lives let alone the lives of their children.

Really? I don’t even know you but this is the most tactless, ludicrous statement I’ve ever heard. I don’t know who died but I certainly do pray for the family. Politicizing traumatic events is something all politicians do, but I might ask, how did you come to the conclusion that conservatives don’t care about dead children? I could say that conservatives aren’t the ones protesting the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Right, love blanket comments like this as if the United States Socialist Party has a clue, they could not lead this country down a single-file goat path … let alone care about anyone who does not think and especially vote for them.

I find it interesting though, as they create/allow the crime problem and then fool people into thinking they are also the solution …. just doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results again.

It’s a sad society we live in today. My son who’s 27 said he doesn’t know if he would want to raise a child in it.

Now the sarcastic comment: the parents must have had the guns and ammo securely stored separately.

In the past people (usually guys) would settle their disputes like men out behind a building. A few busted knuckles, scraped knee’s and maybe a black eye. Those were the things we worried about and how we handled things. On a broader scope we were taught how to hide under our desks and cover our heads cuz those Commies where going to hit us with a nuke.

Today, you gun up or knife up in this case, to prove what a man you are. Black eyes are replaced by jail records & graves. On a broader scope we are taught the police & the government are the enemy.

I live in the tundra where I have very little to worry about crime wise. But I admit being further North then this sometimes seems like a viable option.

Have kids, raise them correctly there will be something they will fear from their generation also.

We can only do the best we can do.

Keep in mind that the boomers, aka “the greatest generation” were the ones to raid the parents.

This is not an extraordinary event. Or necessarily a reflection of the times. I’ve seen things like this my whole life. It’s human nature. The key to survival is to avoid it because you aren’t going to completely eliminate it.

I’ve had enough of this post about violence. I’m going back to my video counsel for another all day /night round of Grand Theft Auto with my buddys. After that I’m gonna watch TV all day tomorrow with the Kill Bill series. Top off my weekend tomorrow night with some walking dead series. What could possibly go wrong! Peace out ✌️

I know nothing about the story. But no matter what it’s a sad deal for both parties. 1 kid went to soon and the other threw everything away.

I think and I might be wrong but the word “raid” was suppose to be raise. In other words he is saying these kids parents are doing a bad job because their parents did a bad job. I think that’s what he meant.

That is terribly sad news Dutchboy, thanks for sharing it as our libtard news sources down here wont talk about it unless there is a gun involved and at least three dead.
I grieve for the parents, friends and families of everyone involved and pray they are comforted in some way.

Biggill, the greatest generation to ever live were those who were alive during WWII and they are certainly not responsible for what is going on today.
More than likely that generation would have kicked your ass out of the country.
Since then this nation has become a nation of boot lickers who stoop and bow at whatever command is given them.
And sadly, the last couple of generations to live has done their very best to make sure their children didnt have to work as hard as we did so you could have it better than we did.
In doing so, and in looking back, its the worst thing we could have ever done as many here, and across this country, expect a handout in whatever fashion because they dont have a clue to what it takes to work hard for everything you have.
When I say hard, I mean physically hard lifting and carrying loads that a human body wasnt designed for everyday.
I did, starting at the age of ten when I was expected to carry buckets of corn and bales of hay to livestock that depended on us for their survival.

I grew up in a mentally and physically abusive household and I will never blame my folks for where I am at, you see, I understood that it was up to me to better myself as this fantastic country allowed me to.
Not to toot my own horn, have you ever seen me do or say anything that was not helpful in someway to others??
Have I not tried to lead by example??

I have said it before, it costs nothing to be courteous,
It costs nothing to be kind,
It costs nothing to at least try to help others,
And it sure as hell doesnt cost anything to be civil one to another.

Let all of us here forward, whether we agree on everything or not, agree in the least to be part of the solution.
Yes, it will take a long time and it will be a tough row to hoe, but it can be done.
look at how long it took to ruin what we had yet so many of you have no idea of what was lost.
