weekend on the bay

With the cold spell behind us the fish have been cooperating. All houses produced fish this weekend , both shallow and deep. The odd thing about the fishing the last week has been the timing of the bite. We have seen more mid day action then the norm with the prime times being slower then the norm. There have been some over slot fish as well and some pout. I guess with the moon faze it makes a little sense. Good numbers of keepers along with slot fish and the little guys make for happy renters. Not all renters have provided picks but some have, I had some renters with more fish but didn’t get picks.

Ice is still inconsistent with areas of 12 to 16 and some areas with only 10 so know where you are going.

I heard it was good over in Walker bay over the weekend. Should be good again this weekend with the warm up coming. Thanks for the report Tom.
