A couple of buddies and I are looking to do a weekend fishing trip. I have not been on one in over 5 years, so I am not sure where to go. I am thinking of going to Leech Lake or Red Lake. Any input or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I’m going to the Park Rapids area-so many lightly fished pretty lakes-lots of nice pannies and bass-Red would be crowded wavey or both. Leech and you probably need a guide for the 1st time. Anything near Brainerd would be crowded and expensive(leech would be spendy too) Park Rapids IMHO. Have Fun!
