    Beautiful day on the water yesterday. Fished from about 7:30-1PM. The only problem was convincing her it was tome to leave. The impending cooler weather may mean the end of open water fishing on superior.

    I have never thought about putting the life jacket under the coat. I assume it works as good?

    It was the only option. I can’t see how it would make any difference. Thankfully we didn’t get to find out.

    I went out of McQuade. I’ve heard of other folks going out of TH and possibly Knife too. Sounds like they were catching fish too. The fish seem really spread out compared to last year.
