Was some time ago but working for a detailer that bought and sold through the auto auction showed me the amount of $$ invested in these liners was even at best. Auto carpet is extremely resilient and with the right chemicals can typically be cleaned well in any vehicle, and whatever blemishes there may be most dealers will just take some matching spray paint to it anyways coffee

I have no issues with people buying them and completely get why they do, but when on trade the dollars you may get because of your spotless carpets is minimal at best.

I typically keep vehicles for a long time, so I bought them for myself, not to recoup money on resale. I got sick of road salt getting into the carpet and hardening. It was time to try something new.

Same here. Not using floor mats sounds ridiculous.

In my wife’s Nissan Murono they are fine but in my old 2003 chev PU they don’t fit well at all. I liked Husky much better.

Just bought a 2016 Ram and deciding on which ones to get, Weather Tech or Husky. Prior to reading this I was going with Weather Tech. Anyone have either in a Ram? Curious as to how they fit.

in a vehicle where you do all your stuff? absolutely. but i just bought the ones at sams that are universal and can be cut and they work great in my silverado. I didn’t spend 100+. i spent 25.

we thought about it in my wifes minivan too but it was almost 300 dollars for 4 pieces. the vehicle is now 12 years old and i just shampooed the floor and mats and i’m def glad i didn’t spend the money. thye look pretty good for their age and 4 children dropping everything under the sun on it.

Another vote for the Husky Xact floor liners. They are softer and less slippery when wet as compared to the harder material in the weathertechs.

My WT liners curl on the edges by the kick panels. WT says to take them out and lay in the sun bottom side up with a light weight of some sort to make them fit again. Within 3 weeks they are back the same way not being a perfect fit again. Pain in the behind.

My husky exact fit don’t do this.
